Chamber Ministries is a non-profit organization whose desire is to impact youth and their families in the surrounding community. This ministry offers a weekly worship service for the entire family, as well as activities outside of school that have a positivie influence on the students while seeking to build good character and morals in their lives. The primary focus is to show community members how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and disciple them to be Godly leaders in their community.
The Director
Rick McGregor was born in raised in the small farming community of Deckerville, Michigan. After high school he studied for one year at Word of Life Bible Institute, and then three years at Liberty University. Upon graduating from Liberty University with a B.S. in Biblical Studies, he served as a youth pastor in South Carolina for three years. At that time he and his wife began praying about starting an outreach ministry to youth. The Lord showed them that Rick's hometown was the place, so they moved to Michigan and began Chamber Ministries in January of 2007. In the fall of 2010 God prompted them to start Chamber United-a weekly Sunday morning service in Deckerville aimed at reaching the entire family. God has continued to lead them as they seek to impact young people in this rural community. Rick and Kristi faithfully serve the Lord, while raising their four children-three boys and one girl.

Why it's needed
Insecurity and instability often characterizes the nature of students. Chamber Ministries seeks to provide students with models of stability. Studies show that kids who participate in after school programs are less likely to commit violent crimes, skip school, and use drugs or alcohol. This ministry, through the power of Jesus, can bring change to the youth of this area.
Our Location
We are located in the thumb of Michigan in the town of Deckerville. Deckerville is approximately 1 hour north of Port Huron and about 5 miles west of Lake Huron. The Youth Center is right in the center of the town of Deckerville, which has opened up many opportunities for outreach in the area.
